Kym Mason and John Brubeck
Driven by a passion for fostering community, Kym Mason is the visionary founder behind The SALT in downtown Poulsbo. As a military kid without a hometown, Kym discovered Poulsbo and chose it as her own. Here, she raised her children and witnessed her family become deeply rooted in this wonderful community. Today, her children are raising their own families here, further solidifying Poulsbo as their cherished hometown.
With a background rooted in leadership within the mortgage industry, Kym brings a wealth of entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to creating dynamic work environments. The SALT is more than just a place to work; it's a hub designed to inspire and support local talent, embodying Kym’s dedication to fostering innovation and collaboration in Kitsap County.
Drawn to Poulsbo's port and the allure of salt water and sailboats, Kym and her husband, John Brubeck, find inspiration in the maritime culture that defines the town. Reflecting their values, Serving and Learning Together, a principle Kym and John embody in both business and community engagement.
Outside of building The SALT, Kym and John are deeply involved in the North Kitsap community, known for their dedication to local economic growth and fostering meaningful connections among professionals. They love organizing networking events and hosting client parties.
